Description
BIGUMA®- BAB 20 ZTV offers a balanced compromise between movement absorption and stability, making it ideal for use in public transport. Excellent adhesion to the rail and adjacent surface ensures a high ageing-resistance of the joint.

Application instructions
a) Melting
Heat to 165–185 °C with mechanical agitation, indirect heating and thermometer. Thermostatic control; avoid overheating.
b) Subsoil
Same as BAB 20 family: clean joints, separate works, rust removal, COLZUMIX®-Haftgrund primer, touch-dry before fill.
c) Filling
Pour by can or lance at temperature. Stable cell filling; second pour if shrinkage. At least 3 mm below rail head top. For crack sealing 2–3 mm with chippings as above.
Weather conditions
Dry weather; surface temperature at least 3 °C.
Material consumption
Sealant by volume formula; primer approx. 3 %.

Equipment: BIGUMA®-SWS, petrol and commercial solvents
At skin contact: hand washing paste
At skin contact: hand washing paste
Storage
Cold and dry; at least 24 months.
