Description
BIGUMA®-CS Tape is used for sealing open seams and cracks up to a width of 3 mm in asphalt pavements. The tape covers the seam or crack area and effectively prevents the penetration of surface water. Preferably BIGUMA®-CS Tape is used for minor roads in local road construction, as well as for pavements and cycle paths.

Application
The seam or crack area must be dry and free from loose debris. Brush primer COLZUMIX®-VfB on both sides of the area — the quantity depends on the subsoil; avoid overdose in all cases. After the primer has dried, roll out BIGUMA®-CS Tape and press lightly onto the crack area. Remove the silicone paper; the surface can then be covered with crushed stone fines for blunting. Press the tape down using a roller.
Note: if the temperature is below 10 °C, adhesion can be improved by warming the asphalt with a propane flame.

Storage
Store cool and dry; shelf life at least 12 months.
