Description

Do you need a product for the fast and cost-effective repair of road damage such as cracks, potholes and depressions? Then BIGUMA®-GRANO MA is the ideal solution for you! Its granular form enables uncomplicated and precise dosing for the relevant application purpose. The granulate is also really easy to melt – meaning that it can also be applied directly to the damaged area using a replaster/burner. Sufficient stability is provided for application thicknesses of up to 40 mm.

Application instructions

a) Melting

Melt gently to 180–230 °C in a pot with mechanical agitation, indirect heating and thermostat. Avoid thermal overload—additives may be damaged. Max. dwell 7 h. Optional ~0.2 % Colzuphalt® during melting to reduce temperature up to ~30 °C.

b) Direct repair application

Heating with replaster/burner possible in layers—work gently; avoid burning binder. Level with asphalt lute, grating board, etc. Before cooling, scatter dust-free, optionally binder-coated chippings.

c) Substrate

Clean thoroughly; remove loose soil/grit. Pre-heating recommended. DOBAU®-Bitumengrundierung may improve bond and bind dust on difficult substrates. Below ZTV Asphalt-StB temperature limits, case-specific drying/heating measures apply.

Storage

Avoid direct sunlight; at least 12 months cool and dry.
