Description
The DOBAU®-Nageldichtband ESK (DOBAU®-Nail Sealing Tape SSA) is a single-sided, cold self-adhesive, elastomeric tape based on polymer bitumen for sealing nail points in the roof area. It is used to seal nails and screws between wooden slats and roof membranes.

Application
DOBAU®-Nageldichtband ESK is laid on the underlay in the rafter area. The counter lath is then applied and nailed on. The nail penetrations in the film are sealed again afterwards by the elastic behaviour of the nail sealing tape. An application temperature above approx. 5 °C is recommended. When used in cold weather, the tape should be stored for at least 12 hours in an environment with > 10 °C beforehand.
Storage
Protect from direct sunlight and store at 10 °C to 30 °C.
