Description
DOBAU®-Terrassenband is the ideal solution for permanently protecting terrace substructures against water, moisture and rot. The self-adhesive sealing tape is easy to apply cold, enabling fast and reliable installation. The top side consists of UV-stable aluminium, providing optimal protection against weathering. The underlying bitumen sealant compound meets the requirements of guideline DTU 51.4 for exterior wooden plank coverings and guarantees the highest quality in professional use.
In addition to protection against water ingress, DOBAU®-Terrassenband offers an additional benefit: it acts as impact sound insulation between the wooden planks, contributing to greater comfort and durability. Thanks to its strong adhesive force, it bonds reliably to wood, metal, plastics and masonry – ideal for versatile applications in terrace construction.

Application
Storage
The product should be protected from direct sunlight and stored at 5 °C to 40 °C. The rolls should also be stored dry and standing on their cut edges. The product is not vulnerable to frost. The properties of DOBAU®-Terrassenband remain unchanged for a long time. Application within 24 months is recommended.
