Asphalt FLAIR

The roots of Asphalt FLAIR lie in a ZIM cooperative project developed together with the Technical University of Cologne and Linnhoff & Henne GmbH. The goal: a sustainable, lasting method for repairing potholes. The result is a holistic method that sets new standards both technologically and ecologically.

At the heart of the innovation is digital damage assessment, the 3B-M modular carrier, and a comprehensively updated area heating module (its first major upgrade in 35 years). The "hot-in-hot" principle is the solution for permanently sealing potholes without joints and without frost attack points — eliminating the weak spots that make conventional repairs vulnerable to weather.

Asphalt FLAIR also closes the material loop: asphalt can be produced directly on site at the depot in a mixer (1.5 t/h output), or breakout material can be recycled on the jobsite itself using the AMI mixer or the AAE reclaimer.

The 3B-M carrier's interchangeable QuickLock modules extend the system beyond pothole repair: crack sealing, road marking, and manhole adjustment are all possible with the same base machine.
