Description

DOBAU®-2SA Dichtungsband is a double-sided adhesive sealing and installation strip made of polymer-modified bitumen, specifically developed for reliable waterproofing in above- and below-ground construction. As an ideal complement to the DOBAU®-Abdichtungsbahn KSK, it provides a permanently tight bond even in particularly demanding connection areas.

Thanks to its high adhesive strength, the tape enables secure application following the "mass-on-mass" principle and is well suited for sealing longitudinal and transverse joints, wall-floor transitions, internal and external corners, edges, coves, and complex details such as pipe penetrations or floor drains. It can also be used to fix insulation and drainage boards, and for coating on expansion joint strips.

DOBAU®-2SA Dichtungsband is designed for both vertical and horizontal applications: walls, floor slabs, foundations, plinths and basement walls, concrete foundations, underground garages. Compatible substrates include smooth concrete, masonry, screeds and OSB boards.

Application

Suitable for improved bonding of longitudinal and transverse joints under the DOBAU®-Abdichtungsbahn KSK ("mass-on-mass" principle), at wall-floor transitions, internal and external corners, edges, coves, expansion joint strips and complex details such as pipe penetrations and floor drains. Also usable for fixing insulation and drainage boards and as a coating on expansion joint strips. Apply to vertical and horizontal substrates (walls, floor slabs, foundations, plinths, basement walls, underground garages) of smooth concrete, masonry, screed or OSB boards.
