Description

DOBAU®- Voranstrich E is a primer and adhesive base with high penetration capacity into mineral substrates such as concrete, brickwork and rendering. DOBAU®- Voranstrich E serves as a primer for DOBAU®- 1KS and DOBAU®- 2KS as well as hot or cold applied bituminous paint and coating compounds, plus bituminous roofing membranes.

Application instructions

Substrate and implementation

The substrate to be coated must be free of oils, grease and loose components. Before processing, the primer must be fully homogenized by stirring. It can be applied by either painting or spraying. To make it easier to clean the tools later, these must be moistened before use and cleaned with water immediately afterwards.

Weather conditions

DOBAU®-Voranstrich E is sensitive to frost. Completely dry coatings are not sensitive to frost. At the application of DOBAU®-Voranstrich E the ground and air temperatures must be more than 5 °C. The effects of water, rain and frost must be avoided during the processing and drying phase.

Material consumption

Approx. 0.2–0.3 kg/m², depending on the substrate.

Cleaning agents

Tools and other objects can be cleaned with water when fresh and when set with DOBAU®-SWS Bit-Cleanser.

Storage

Can be stored for at least 12 months in an unopened container. Opened containers can be stored by keeping the container well closed. The containers need to be stored frost-free. Avoid direct sunlight or strong heat.
